Beech Bonanza

Select your perfectly overhauled RAM engine with accessories in exchange (if your engine reaches TBO or 12 years of service or if you like to upgrade) suitable to your needs:

  • IO-520-BB
    in case you like to maintain your present configuration,
  • IO-550-B
    in case you have it installed already, or an upgrade to
  • IO-550-B-RA
    in case you decide to upgrade from an IO-520.

When upgrading your Bonanza from an IO-520 to an IO-550 engine, the RAM IO-550-B-RA (STC SE10746SC-D and EASA 10027805) packaged with the D'Shannon Kit (baffles, modification of engine compartment, etc.) according to STC SA2200SW (LBA EMZ 0677/627a of Dec 14, 95) is your best solution. If not yet installed, we highly recommend an additional Engine Monitoring System like JPI EDM-700-6C. Without the ability to continuously monitor the essential engine parameters, any operation of the IO-550-B-RA in LOP mode should strictly be avoided.

The RAM STCs for this enhancement (SA2706SW and SA2969SW) have been approved by CAA Denmark already on April 26, 1999 and on July 11, 2000.  By these acts the RAM STCs are accepted for all EASA countries according to European regulations.
